Hi and welcome to my driving school here’s a little bit about myself and the school.

The school is relatively young compared to some others although I have been in the industry for a number of years working with other companies in the Barnsley and Sheffield areas. This enabled me to gain knowledge on how the industry works and what client’s want, which I believe is value for money and lessons to suit their busy schedules.

I am the only instructor which means I am able to work around the needs of the business. This means I don’t just work 9am to 5pm but also some evenings and weekends which helps those with work commitments or child care requirements. Learning to drive can be worrying enough without having to sort out personal lives to be able to do it.

Each new client will be given help with theory test tuition if required, and also a client record card where we are able to record progress and plan future lessons. Doing this ensures all the criteria required for the driving test is covered and that the correct standard for enjoyable safe driving is achieved.

Before going for the driving test I carry out mock tests. I try to make this as realistic as possible as it not only makes sure you are ready for the actual day but I believe it helps get you used to test conditions so hopefully reducing any nerves you may feel on the actual day of the test.

One helpful hint to give the client driving at the time my full attention I will not answer any calls. My mobile will automatically divert to answer phone so it would be helpful if you would please leave a message with your name and number so I can call you back as soon as I am free.
